I’ve decided that July is my favorite month of the year (sorry, October). With family reunions, lake days, and camping with an almost 4 month old, this past July in particular has felt like a 31-day-long holiday. As the celebration comes to a close, I want to pay tribute to the good things I experienced. There are so many things to be thankful for. Here are some of them:

Gas stations in the middle of nowhere.
Sweatshirts that smell like campfire smoke.
Loud country music.
Sandal tan-lines.
The smell of sunscreen.
Juicy, flavorful watermelons.
Dirty shoes.
Home projects.
That book I can’t stop thinking about.
All-day hikes.
Sunsets in the grocery store parking lot.
Winning Settlers of Catan fair and square, Corbin.
May your summer be full of your favorite things too.
Thanks for reading!
